DIA-DB

Diabetes drug prediction by similarity and inverse virtual screening.

About

DIA-DB is a public web server for the prediction of anti-diabetic drugs. It combines two approaches: (a) similarity comparison against a curated database of anti-diabetic drugs and experimental compounds, and (b) inverse virtual screening of user-submitted molecules against a set of protein targets identified as key elements in diabetes.

No registration is required; a detailed report with the prediction results is delivered by email.

Key features

Anti-diabetic activity prediction

Predicts likely anti-diabetic potential of new molecules.

Multi-target inverse screening

Screens against a panel of diabetes-related protein targets.

First public anti-diabetic-drug database

Curated repository of known and experimental anti-diabetic compounds.
