Open Positions

Join the BIO-HPC group.

We open PhD, postdoctoral and predoctoral positions on a rolling basis — through international, Spanish national and Fundación Séneca fellowship calls. Below are the active tracks; specific calls are published when each funding window opens.

How to apply

Open applications by email are welcome year-round.

  • Send a short email to Prof. Horacio Pérez-Sánchez at hperez@ucam.edu with: a 1-page CV, a brief motivation paragraph (3-5 sentences), and one or two topics from our research lines that interest you most.
  • If there is fit, we schedule a video call to discuss specific projects and the most appropriate fellowship/funding route.
  • Funding is then targeted to the most suitable open call (FPU, Séneca, UCAM, Marie Curie, Juan de la Cierva, etc.) and the application is co-prepared with the group.
  • Visiting researchers — short-stay scholars from international partner groups are welcome under HPC-Europa3 and bilateral programmes. Contact directly.

Working in the group

Members publish in international peer-reviewed journals, contribute to patented compounds, build software used by industry partners, and present at major conferences. The group is integrated within UCAM’s HiTech Innovation Hub and operates with UCAM and external HPC resources (BSC, NLHPC, PSNC, HPC-Europa).
