Achilles

Blind Docking Server

A priori blind docking — no binding site required.

About

Achilles is a web server for performing blind docking calculations: given a protein and a ligand, it explores potential binding sites across the whole protein surface without requiring prior knowledge of the binding pocket.

It is open to all users — no registration required — and a detailed prediction report is delivered by email.

Key features

Binding-site discovery

Finds candidate pockets for orphan or poorly-characterised targets.

Allosteric exploration

Identifies non-orthosteric pockets that may be functionally relevant.

Fast pre-screening

Useful as a first-pass filter before more expensive site-specific docking.
